Gucio shoes have a unique back, which is built as a cover at the back of the shoe-top. It covers the binding of the shoe-top and reinforces it as well. This back has a shape of a gusset creating a heel from the bottom, reinforced from the back and flexible external join fixed together. The flexible element of a heel has a shape of a trapezium and from the inside has a layer of a material more stiffed then all the rest of this element. The active height of this flexible element is equal to the maximum height of a heel's line.
This innovation resolves a problem of back part of a shoe construction, which should offer high standard of usage, proper orthopaedic attributes and a long persistence, even during fast growth of a child and foot's size and proportions changes. The essence of the solution with this unique back is a narrow, vertical cut in the middle of a height in a cover equal to the 3/4 of that height. Advantageously the edges of the binding at the back are inserted into the cut of the cover. The vertical cut flexibly broadens, what allows to enlarge the longitudinal dimension of a shoe. Additionally the binding of a heel and the shoe-top around the vertical cut protect against tearing apart. It is especially important in case of the shoes made of delicate materials. Such solution helps to adjust shoe to different heel's widths. One more competitive feature of Gucio shoes is a solution at the shoe back seam. The edges of the seam insert into the vertical cut, which helps to avoid pressing on the heel and Achilles' tendon, which equals better adaptation to an individual anatomic shape of a foot. It is extremely important, as a heel is very sensitive. And the vertical cut together with the external seam make self-stiffness of a shoe heel at the point, where it clings to a heel.
