Child's foot is very mobile, so the shoe should be flexible. First of all, it should not correct the nature, especially that a child's foot is ideal in its form. And moreover you cannot interfere with a proper physical evolution of a child's foot, what a bad footwear would surely do. Bad shoe on an unshaped child's foot would most probably deform it!
Therefore the perfect shoe should have:
- a well-stiffened back to keep the heel properly;
- a softly finished shoe-top placed a little above an ankle;
- a wide shoe bottom;
- an elastic sole, easy to bend, especially in the joints and toes line;
- a smooth, leather interior without noticeable seams;
- well stiffened back goes from the sewn sole on the back;
- the whole shoe is made from smooth, thin leather;
- paints used to color the leather are non-toxic and are put only on the surface, therefore there is no direct contact with the foot;
- wide sole made of flexsible, non-slippery rubber, easy to bend;
- absolutely smooth interior without any seams, with a soft aircushion under the heel;
